Waste as Art  LQ: How can using waste to make art bring awareness to the global waste problem?  Planning You will design ideas  for a piece of art that is up-cycled and made out of waste material. Up-Cycle - Using your deice, write in a full sentence the definition of 'up-cycling'. Who is Michelle Reader? Michelle Reader is a very well known artist, she uses recycled and reused items to create sculptures of art with them. She was born in 1975 in Cambridge, England. What kind of art does Michelle produce? She reuses waste materials to crate unique and recycled sculptures, she has been working with recycled materials in her art since 1997. What recycled materials does she use? She mostly uses bottle caps, reused toys and clocks in her art as to giving a 3D form to it. How does she use the recycled materials to create art? She does also use mechanical artwork by using mechanical creations as she sees a possibility for interaction and movement, she uses clocks and old toys and incorporates them to her work.
