Activity:

In groups (using zoom breakout rooms) rehearse Jack and the Beanstalk - Select sections you want to use, do not do all of the Revolting Rhyme
  1. Apply voice skills practiced from last session- tone, volume, pitch, intonation or accent
  2. Decide how you will divide the lines among those in the group.
  3. Can you use voices in Unison- sections spoken at the same time with two or more group members OR Canon- one after the other
  4. Find a rhythm beat to the dialogue
  5. Share with class.
Reflect: Discuss What Went Well and Even Better If.
WWW: What was good in our reading, we used unison for some lines and we bought in some enthusiasm and everything was planned out. We all knew when our lines were and everything was structured throughout when we read. I think my tone volume was quite good throughout when I read.

EBI: If we could improve, I would like to put more enthusiasm and structure to when we read, and when we would perform unison we would not all go at the same time, so I suggest that if we had more time we could improve on our rhythm and where were our lines at.
